Operation Fast and Furious is a big problem for the Obama administration. What’s worse is now 52 Congressmen and one Senator from 28 states have called for Attorney General Eric Holder to resign based on his role in the operation that led to the death of Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry. As usual, the liberal media has done a great job of keeping this story low on their radar, or in cases where it’s been highlighted, it hasn’t been pushed. The implications behind Operation Fast and Furious bring a new level of scandal to the Obama administration, and that bothers Eric Holder. Yesterday, when questioned by The Daily Caller, Holder lashed out and even created a conspiracy theory behind his plan for new gun control measures.

Indefinite detention for Americans
Appearing on Napolitano’s Fox Business show, Paul said it perplexed him “how anyone could vote to send an American citizen who’s been accused of a crime to a detention center in a foreign land without due process”.
Paul has offered an amendment to the NDAA bill that would completely strip Section 1031 from the legislation, although it’s unlikely to pass following yesterday’s rejection of Senator Mark Udall’s weaker amendment that would have merely provided more oversight.

Corporate drug dealing grows
The medicating of Americans for mental illnesses continued to grow over the past decade, with one in five adults now taking at least one psychiatric drug such as antidepressants, antipsychotics and anti-anxiety medications, according to an analysis of pharmacy-claims data.
Among the most striking findings was a big increase in the use of powerful antipsychotic drugs across all ages, as well as growth in adult use of drugs for attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder—a condition typically diagnosed in childhood. Use of ADHD drugs such as Concerta and Vyvanse tripled among those aged 20 to 44 between 2001 and 2010, and it doubled over that time among women in the 45-to-65 group, according to the report.

It’s a fraud problem, not a business cycle problem

This is not an economic class struggle.

New Searchable Database of Climategate 2 Emails
This week’s release of emails from the crimatologists at the heart of the original Climategate scandal is nothing like the last one. When some anonymous insider leaked out the original batch of emails and notes in the 2009 scandal, it took weeks for the incident to gain any traction at all in the mainstream media. Even then, it took several more weeks before any serious consideration at all was given to the matter in the MSM. This time, the leak is being covered promptly and prominently by The Guardian and other big publications. Of course, they’re already trying to downplay the significance of this massive data dump and trumpeting the usual “climategate investigations exhonerated the scientists” tune, but at least they have already confirmed that the emails are real.

Monsanto partners with USAID to push GM corn in Nepal
